The official gift-receiving agency for Colorado School of Mines is Colorado School of Mines Foundation, Inc., a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) entity founded in 1928 and incorporated in 1951. The CSM Foundation’s mission is to receive and manage contributions for the sole benefit of Mines and its students. The foundation’s objective is to manage the Mines endowment to benefit the school in perpetuity, and to ensure that contributions are used in accordance with donor intent.
