Thank you for making a year-end gift to Colorado School of Mines through the CSM Foundation. Your contributions help to bolster Mines' resources at an important time, while offering tax benefits to you as we near the end of the 2012 tax year.

The CSM Foundation office will be closed December 24 through December 25, and again January 1. There are a number of ways to make your gift to count as a 2012 contribution for tax purposes.

Online credit card gifts must be made by 11:59 p.m. MST on Monday, December 31. In accordance with IRS guidelines, the gift date is the charge date, so credit card gifts received via U.S. mail after December 31 or online credit card gifts received after 11:59 p.m. MST on December 31 will be posted as calendar year 2013 gifts.
Cash, checks, or gifts of stock sent through the mail must be postmarked on or before December 31 to count for tax year 2012.
We recommend that you allow two weeks for electronic gifts of stocks or mutual funds. Please contact us for instructions and assistance.

Gifts may also be hand-delivered to the CSM Foundation offices at 1232 W. Campus Rd. in Golden through 5:00 p.m. MST on Monday, December 31.
